Wayne Village Pottery Chickadee Clay Ornament

At Wayne Village Pottery, that lovely stuff known as Maine “blue” clay is dug out of our back field. The early redware potters also used this kind of clay, and we enjoy following their tradition of creating handmade pottery which is useful, affordable and decorative. 

The brave and cheerful Chickadee is our faithful friend here in Maine during the long winters.

All ornaments come with ribbon or wire for hanging. Each ornament is crafted by hand. Because of this, no two are exactly alike.
